How to import your employees into the platform using a CSV file?
To be able to test your company and observe its behavior during a phishing attack, you must first import your collaborators into the platform.
Import can allow both adding and updating existing collaborators.
Prerequisites
CSV file format
CSV file import procedure
Updating existing profiles
To import your users into the platform, the domain name to which their email addresses belong must be validated.
For example, if you have verified the arsen.co domain name but are trying to test users with email addresses ending in @example.com, the import will fail.
Make sure you have validated the domain names of the email addresses you are importing. If not, read the procedure for validating domain names.
The CSV file format is deliberately simple: the first line contains the header and the following lines contain the information of the employees to be imported.
β οΈ It must include the mandatory headers firstname, lastname, and email to define the columns containing respectively the first name, last name, and email to which the collaborator belongs.
π The header of the fourth column is the one corresponding to the groups.

Groups are non-exclusive. This means that a member of staff can belong to an infinite number of different groups.
Some groups may have a common denominator which is called type: for example, the Country groups in the table above.
Purchasing, Marketing, HR and Finance can be grouped under the type Department. The_ France, Denmark, USA, Italy and China groups_ can be grouped under the Country type.
To import your collaborators from a correctly formatted CSV file:
Go to Employees, then click on the file upload icon in the top right corner.
In the new window, you can drag and drop your CSV file or click Browse to select it from your browser.
Once the file is selected, verify the correct reading of the CSV with the preview step.
If something doesn't look right, you can go back to send a corrected file by clicking on Previous. If everything looks correct, click on Next.
On the next screen, you can choose whether to update existing profiles (see next section or not. Confirm that you have permission to test the imported collaborators and have the necessary rights on the targeted domain names before clicking Import.
β The import is now complete, and you should see the profiles of your added collaborators on the Employees page.
In the last step before import, you can choose whether to update existing employees or not.
If you choose to update existing profiles, the first name, last name, and groups of collaborators whose email address is already present in the platform will be replaced by the data from the imported file.
If you choose NOT to update existing profiles, the collaborators already present in the platform as well as in the CSV file will be ignored and remain unchanged.
Import can allow both adding and updating existing collaborators.
