Creating and Editing Lesson Content

Editing Your Lessons with AI

To create, edit, or update your lessons, go to Awareness Training in the main menu and click Courses.


1 – Objectives

  • Create a lesson using AI or from a blank template

  • Edit an existing lesson

  • Customize a lesson using the editor’s features: text, images, videos, questions, and delivery notifications


2 – Prerequisites

  • Have access to Awareness Training → Courses

  • Have permissions to create and edit lessons

  • Have publicly accessible URLs for external images or videos

  • For Teams/Slack delivery methods: have the corresponding integrations enabled


3 – Accessing the lesson editor

  • Click Awareness Training in the main menu

  • Select Courses

  • Click Create a new Course

3.1 – Creating an AI-generated course

  • Enter a few keywords describing the lesson topic

  • Click Generate to let the AI build your lesson

3.2 – Creating a course from a blank template

  • Click Use blank template

In both cases, you are then redirected to the full lesson editor.

4 – Editing textual content

4.1 – Editing text

All text fields are editable using the Markdown editor located on the right side of the screen.

You can adjust:

  • color

  • font

  • size

  • style (bold, italics, headings…)

  • overall formatting

5 – Adding or editing images

  • Click + between two blocks to add an image block

  • Enter the URL of the image

  • Position and resize the visual as needed

📚 Recommendation:
Host your images on a reliable, publicly accessible source to ensure proper display.


6 – Adding or editing video content

  • Click + to insert a video block

You may choose:

  • a video provided by Arsen

  • your own video by pasting its URL

(Optional) Add a Thumbnail URL to define the preview image.

  • Click Preview Video to open the video in your browser and validate

7 – Adding or editing questions

Each lesson must contain at least one mandatory question, used to measure:

  • engagement

  • content understanding

You may add up to three questions.

7.1 – Creating or editing questions

Available actions:

  • Add Question

  • Remove Question

  • Edit the question text and answers

  • Set the correct answer by clicking the ✔️ icon (turns green when validated)

  • Add explanatory text displayed to employees after they respond

7.2 – Managing question display in emails

Only the first question appears in the email or notification.

If multiple questions exist, employees:

  • answer the first question in the email

  • are automatically redirected to their browser

  • access the remaining questions there

7.3 – Customizing the appearance of questions

  • Expand CUSTOMIZE APPEARANCE to modify:

    • colors

    • style

    • layout of the first question (the one visible in the email)

8 – Editing delivery notifications

In the left section of the editor, the DELIVERY CHANNELS block contains three tabs:

  • Email

  • Teams

  • Slack

For each tab, you can:

  • modify notification text

  • customize the email subject

  • adapt the message depending on the selected channel

⚠️ Warning
If Teams and/or Slack integrations are not enabled, a blue alert message will appear.
A link redirects you to the documentation explaining how to enable integrations.
