Choosing a learning path

Training your employees with a structured set of courses

Implementing cybersecurity awareness programs helps sustainably improve employee behavior by strengthening both their theoretical knowledge and their ability to identify threats.


1 – Objectives

This article explains how to:

  • create an awareness program in Arsen

  • choose the program type (Continuous or Time Bound)

  • select participants

  • choose your learning path.

  • edit an existing program


2 – Prerequisites

  • Have access to the Awareness Training module

  • Have permissions to configure and launch a program

  • Understand the differences between program types

  • Identify the groups or employees to include in your program


3 – Setting the program timeframe

To create a program:

  • Click + New Program

  • Enter a name for your program

  • Choose a program type:

    • Continuous Program

    • Time Bound Program


4 – Selecting the participants

Two options are available:

  1. All your Employees

  2. Selected Groups

Select All your Employees to include all collaborators in the program

  • Select Selected Groups and choose one or more groups

  • Allow dynamic updates: new employees joining a group (via AD sync, CSV import, or dynamic assignment) can be added automatically

5 – Choose a prebuilt learning path

Arsen offers dedicated learning paths that allow you to quickly select a set of pre-created courses grouped together based on a specific need.

5.1 – Create a learning path

A search field allows you to create your training program.

Complete the sentence I want to... and then click Continue.

5.2 – Choose an existing learning path

Many learning paths are already created and used by numerous customers.

Click Use This Learning Path to select an already available learning path.

6 – Manually choose the courses for the program

To select the courses that will make up the program:

  • Use the search field at the top of the screen to quickly find a lesson.

  • Click Select course on a course card to select it.

To validate your selection, click Continue to access the summary before launching your program.

Under the "Your Learning Path" section, change the course delivery order by dragging and dropping the courses into the desired order.

Review the configuration, then click Launch under Ready? Launch your program! to start the program.

7 – Editing an existing program

⚠️ Important
Modifying a Continuous Program is possible at any time, but changes only apply to employees assigned after the modifications.

7.1 – Accessing the edit menu

  • Go to Awareness Training → Programs

  • On each program card, click the three-dot action menu

7.2 – Available actions

  • Click Pause to pause the program

  • Click Resume to restart a paused program

  • Click Archive to archive an obsolete or completed program
