Scheduling Your Programs by default

Determining delivery days and times

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Arsen allows you to customize lesson delivery settings to align with your teams’ working habits.

You can define the default allowed days, time windows, and time zone used when new programs are created.

These settings only affect future programs—not those already launched.

1 – Objectives

This article explains how to:

  • define default lesson delivery days

  • define lesson delivery time windows

  • configure the time zone used by awareness programs

These settings ensure consistent, appropriate, and non-intrusive delivery of training content to your collaborators.

2 – Prerequisites

  • Have an Administrator role allowing access to the platform Settings

  • Have the Awareness Training module activated

  • Know your teams’ availability in order to calibrate delivery days and times

3 – Accessing lesson delivery settings

  • Click your company logo in the upper-right corner

  • Select Settings from the dropdown

4 – Setting lesson delivery days

The interface provides toggle buttons to activate or deactivate each weekday.

  • Click the button for the day you want to activate or deactivate

  • An activated day means employees may receive lessons on that day

📚 Example
If only Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are activated, lessons will only be delivered on those days.

5 – Setting lesson delivery time windows

Define the hours during which employees may receive lessons by setting two time boundaries.

  1. Define the start time

Enter the time under From, which corresponds to the beginning of the permitted delivery window.

  2. Define the end time
Enter the time under To, which corresponds to the end of the permissible delivery window.

These two fields determine the exact time window during which Arsen may send lessons.

6 – Setting the time zone

The time zone is configured in the same section.

To choose your Timezone:

  • Use the dropdown under Timezone

  • Search for your city or region

  • Select the time zone that matches your organization

7 – Important: scope of changes

⚠️ Warning
The updated settings apply only to programs created after saving the changes.
They have no retroactive effect on programs already ongoing or completed.

To change the default days and times for sending lessons in your programs, go to the application settings.

To access the settings, click on your company logo at the top right of the Arsen screens, next to your name.

A menu will appear—click on Settings.

⚠️ When you define new settings and save them, they only apply to future programs. This means the modified settings do not affect existing programs.

Define the days to send courses

To select the days for sending your courses, use the buttons to activate or deactivate the days of the week. An active day is a day when your team is allowed to receive courses.

In the example below, courses are enabled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

Define the time range for sending your courses

To define the time range during which employees can receive lessons:

  1. Set the starting time under From, which indicates when employees can begin receiving lessons.

  2. Set the ending time under To, which indicates when lesson deliveries should stop for the day.

Set your time zone

To the right of the time range selection, you will find a list from which you can select your time zone.

Under Timezone, there is a list and a search field to help you find the city that defines your time zone.
