Add a User Group

Creation, group types and their purpose

Arsen allows you to create an unlimited number of groups, and each employee can belong to multiple groups simultaneously.


1 – Objectives

Assign employees to groups in order to:

target specific populations within the company (VIP, privileged accounts, departments, teams, etc.)


2 – Prerequisites

Add employees to the employee list before grouping them.


3 – Initial configuration

When your account is created, three groups are automatically added:

  • A group of employees who have never received phishing tests (Untested Employees)

  • A group of employees with a security score below 60 (Score < 60)

  • A group of employees with a security score equal to or above 60 (Score ≥ 60)

Groups are sorted alphabetically by default.

To access group management and view their performance, click Groups in the main menu.

4 – Add a standard group

4.1 – Create a standard group

To create a standard group:

  • Click Create Group

  • Select Standard Group

  • Enter the group name

4.2 – Types of standard groups

There are two types of standard groups:

4.2.1 – Groups created in Arsen

Used to organize employees based on internal criteria such as:

  • spoken language

  • department

  • job role

  • manager

  • or any internal classification

4.2.2 – Groups synchronized from your tenant

These groups are automatically imported from your identity provider.

5 – Add a dynamic group

A dynamic group updates its membership automatically based on defined criteria.

Unlike standard groups, they provide advanced flexibility and allow you to:

  • create targeted campaigns

  • deploy automated training programs

  • track populations whose characteristics evolve over time

5.1 – Create a dynamic group

To add a dynamic group:

  • Click + Add Group

  • Select Dynamic Groups

5.2 – Define criteria

Criteria are available from the Attributes dropdown menu.
They apply to each employee and can be combined.

5.3 – Available filters

  • Clicked: number of clicks over a selected period

  • Compromissions: number of compromises over a selected period

  • Created: employee creation date

  • Groups: selection based on membership in existing standard groups

  • Identity Directory: selection based on the employee’s directory source

  • Language: employee’s configured language (English is used by default if none is set)

  • Score: employee security score

  • Untested Employees: selects all employees who have never participated in a phishing campaign

5.4 – Role and usage

Dynamic groups are available across the entire platform.
They allow you to create:

  • adaptive programs based on behavioral data

  • targeted campaigns using objective and up-to-date criteria

  • automated segmentation with no manual updates
