Create a vishing campaign

Setting Up Your Vishing Campaign

Updated over a month ago

Raising employee awareness about vishing helps limit the risk of telephone fraud and protects your company’s sensitive information from this emerging and exponentially growing attack vector.

1 – Objectives

  • To plan your vishing campaign

  • To define which employees to train with your vishing campaign

  • To select the relevant scenario(s)

2 – Prerequisites

  • Have access to the Vishing module in the Arsen platform

  • Have previously configured the phone numbers of the employees involved

  • Have the required permissions to launch a campaign (Admin role)

3 – Accessing campaign creation

  • Click Campaigns in the Vishing section of the main menu

  • Click + New Campaign to begin configuration
You will then access the vishing campaign creation settings.

4 – Scheduling your campaign

Start by giving your campaign a name.

Then define, in order of appearance:

  • the launch date

  • the days during which calls can take place

  • the time window (From / To) when calls are allowed

  • the timezone (selectable via dropdown)

⚠️ Warning
You do NOT set a specific call calendar: the platform automatically distributes the call workload based on the number of employees to contact and the selected days and time ranges.

Click Continue to proceed.

  • Groups: target one or several specific groups

Once selected, click Continue.

⚠️ Warning

Only employees with a phone number will be available for selection. For more information on adding phone numbers, click here.

6 – Choosing a vishing scenario

Unlike phishing, you can only select one scenario for a vishing campaign.

To choose a scenario:

  • Hover your cursor over the desired card

  • Click Select Scenario

  • Then click Continue to access the final review

7 – Reviewing your campaign settings

The summary page displays several key pieces of information.

7.1 – Analyzing the interval between call attempts

The number of minutes/hours between each call depends on how many employees are being trained.

7.2 – Anticipating the estimated duration of your campaign

  • Fastest completion date: the earliest possible date by which all call attempts could be completed

  • Slowest completion date: the latest date based on the number of calls needed if several attempts are made

These estimates depend on the total number of targeted employees and the number of possible retries.

⚠️ Warning
These dates indicate the end of the last call attempt, not the end of the campaign.
Arsen continues collecting events by default for 7 days after the final call attempt.
