Quick Setup – Microsoft Email Delivery

The Microsoft Email Delivery integration replaces manual whitelisting procedures and guarantees Arsen email deliverability to inboxes in just a few clicks.


1 - Objectives

  • Simplify the whitelisting procedure on Microsoft 365.

  • Ensure secure deliverability of Arsen simulation emails.

  • Automate the integration without manual configuration on Exchange or Microsoft Defender.


2 - Prerequisites

  • Be able to authorize the installation of a third-party application on Microsoft 365 (administrator rights on Exchange Online).

  • Ideally use a dedicated account (Global Administrator or Privileged Role Administrator).


3 - Locate the integration

When an Arsen account is created, the procedures are simplified. Click here to access them.

Click on your logo in the top-right corner of the Arsen interface to access Settings, then click Integrations.

The list of integrations is displayed. Click Microsoft Email Delivery.

4 - Setting up the integration

  • Click the Install tab.

  • Click the Connect to Microsoft 365 button.

  • You will be redirected to Microsoft 365 to approve the integration. Click Accept to validate the integration.

5 - Share the instructions to activate the integration

Onboarding is complete, and you do not have Microsoft administrator rights, so follow steps below:

To retrieve the link used to share the instructions:

  • Click Settings.

  • Click the Campaign Settings tab.

  • In the Phishing Simulations Whitelisting section, click click here in the sentence:
    “To access the email whitelisting procedure, please click here.”

  • A window opens allowing you to generate a link to share.
    The generated link is valid for 15 days.

  • Copy and paste the link into an email to send the authorization instructions for phishing operations via Microsoft to a Microsoft administrator.


6 - Uninstall the Microsoft Email Delivery application

  • Click on your logo in the top-right corner of the Arsen interface to access Settings, then click Integrations.

  • The list of integrations is displayed. Click Microsoft Email Delivery.

  • Then click the Uninstall tab.

  • Click the red Uninstall integration button.

  • Finally, click Confirm in the dialog box that opens in the center of the screen.
